Description

Supervise the purchase ledger team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
Monitor and manage supplier accounts, resolving any discrepancies or queries promptly.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
Assist in the preparation of payment runs and maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on ledger performance.
Support the team with training and development to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Team Leader should have:

Proven experience in managing a purchase ledger or accounts assistant role
Strong knowledge of financial systems and relevant software.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
