Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark, South East London
Contract: Full-time | Long-term | Immediate Start Available

We are working in close partnership with a truly exceptional primary school in the heart of Southwark to recruit a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant.

This inclusive, high-achieving primary school has built a strong reputation locally for its nurturing ethos and high standards. Leadership is experienced, visible and deeply supportive of staff wellbeing. The Early Years setting is bright, purposeful and beautifully resourced, with a strong emphasis on child-led learning, outdoor provision and language development.

The role will involve:

Supporting high-quality play-based learning
Delivering small group phonics and early language interventions
Contributing to observations and learning journeys
Supporting children with additional needs where required
Creating a calm, safe and stimulating learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working within EYFS 
Has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework
Is confident supporting early phonics and language development
Brings warmth, patience and initiative to their work
Works well as part of a team and communicates professionallyWhy Horizon Teachers?
