Cover Supervisor - Selby

Are you looking for a meaningful role in education? We're currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Selby and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, or any role involving young people.

About the role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll lead lessons in the absence of a teacher using materials provided by the school. You don't need to be a qualified teacher-just confident in managing a classroom, keeping students focused, and supporting a positive learning atmosphere.

Main responsibilities:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
Keeping students on task and promoting engagement
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Answering student questions and offering basic support
Reporting any concerns or incidents to school staffWe're looking for people who are:
