The Role:

As a Manual Universal Grinder, you will play a crucial role in producing high-precision aerospace components to exacting standards. This is a hands-on position, working with a variety of materials and tolerances within a busy, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating manual cylindrical and surface grinders

*

Working to tight aerospace tolerances and detailed technical drawings

*

Machining a range of aerospace components in various materials

*

Ensuring quality control through regular inspection and measurement

*

Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working area

The Candidate:

*

Proven experience as a Universal Grinder / Manual Grinder

*

Strong knowledge of cylindrical and surface grinding techniques

*

Background in aerospace precision engineering (advantageous)

*

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

*

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
