The Role: Security Solutions Architect
As Security Solutions Architect, you will join an established Solutions Engineering team and play a key role in supporting the commercial function through expert technical pre-sales support across the security portfolio.
This is a highly customer-facing role, involving regular engagement with prospects and existing clients. You will help customers understand their security risks, challenges, and solution options, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value. Working closely with sales colleagues, you will support technical account planning, solution design, and the development of high-quality proposals and tender responses.
You will also represent the business in customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and webinars, helping position the organisation as a trusted security adviser.
Key Responsibilities: Security Solutions Architect
Deliver high-quality technical pre-sales services (both chargeable and non-chargeable) to new and existing customers.
Act as a trusted technical adviser, building strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout engagements.
Support the sales team with customer-facing technical expertise during meetings, discovery sessions, and opportunity qualification.
Deliver clear, engaging product presentations and demonstrations at customer meetings, events, and webinars.
Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate proposed security solutions.
Evaluate and compare competing security technologies to recommend the most appropriate solution for each customer.
Contribute to solution design and assist in producing high-quality proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses.Skills & Experience: Security Solutions Architect
Essential
Technical consultancy, pre-sales, or customer-facing project delivery experience within an MSP or IT reseller environment.
Strong experience across IT infrastructure and IT services technologies, with a focus on security.
Proven ability to produce high-quality customer-facing documentation, including proposals and tenders.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical depth and business value.
Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
Strong organisational and time-management capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work closely with sales and technical teams.
UK-based, with flexibility to travel as required.
Full, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.Desirable
Certifications or hands-on experience with security technologies such as Sophos, Fortinet, N-Able, Mimecast, Barracuda, Microsoft, or similar platforms.
Experience delivering webinars, workshops, or customer-facing events.
Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity principles and best practices.
