Role: Senior Engineer

Location: Sizewell, Suffolk

Salary: £(Apply online only)/day

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Engineer with marine, piling and tunnelling experience to get started immediately in the Suffolk area on a major new project.

The project will include inland HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), dredging, precast concrete elements and marine, offshore works including piling. This is a huge project in a high-risk environment so the candidate must have experience working on heavy civils projects.

Role:

* Setting out and surveying for tunnelling, piling, dredging operations

* Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, producing as builts

* Setting out and surveying using total station/ surveying GPS

* Preparing and maintaining QA documentation

* Liaising with the senior management team

* Liaising with the external design team

* Managing subcontractors; checking and maintaining QA and HSE standards

Requirements:

* At least 5 years experience within civil engineering, preferably in the environmental and heavy civil engineering sectors

* CSCS

* HNC/ HND in Civil Engineering minimum

* Ability to pass a BPSS security clearance
