Higher Level Teaching Assistant (EYFS) – Barnsley, S71
Salary: £27,711 - £30,060 (FTE) - £20,525 – £22,265 (actual salary)
Hours: 32.5 per week, Term time only (38.4 weeks per year)

Are you passionate about working in EYFS? Teaching Personnel is working on an exciting and rewarding permanent opportunity in partnership with a supportive and welcoming primary school with a close-knit and committed team, to recruit an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their EYFS provision.

About the Role:

As a HLTA in the Early Years Foundation Stage, you will:

Plan and deliver small group interventions and cover whole-class sessions when required.
Support assessment and observation processes to inform planning.
Foster social and emotional development in young learners.
Engage with families, building strong home-school relationships and encouraging parental involvement.
Line manage other teaching assistants where appropriate.
Requirements:

HLTA Level 4 qualification, or Level 3 with significant and relevant EYFS experience.
A strong background in EYFS education, with knowledge of the Early Years Framework.
Experience or awareness of SEND interventions.
A motivated and nurturing individual committed to giving children the best possible start in their education.
