The New Product Developer Opportunity:

You'll play a key part in developing exciting, high-performance products across protein, performance, health, and wellbeing categories. From formulating and flavouring powders to improving existing blends and launching brand-new concepts, your work will help us stay at the forefront of the industry.

What your day-to-day might look like:

•    Develop and launch new products: Drive end-to-end innovation across protein, performance, health, and wellness categories using knowledge of functional ingredients and flavour systems.
•    Improve existing formulations: Optimise flavour, texture, efficacy, or nutrition based on feedback, market trends, and performance data.
•    Create EFSA-compliant content: Write accurate, engaging product content that meets EU and UK regulatory standards.
•    Coordinate with supply chain and suppliers: Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to manage timelines, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
•    Support production troubleshooting: Identify and resolve blend or formulation issues to reduce downtime and maintain quality.
•    Monitor market trends: Track emerging trends, ingredients, formats, and competitor activity; share insights with the Innovation team.
•    Write product copy: Craft clear, brand-aligned copy for packaging and digital channels with technical accuracy.
•    Manage product development: Lead cross-functional projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and milestones are met.

About you:

•    Ideally, you'll hold a Bachelor's in Sports/Science/Food Science/Nutrition or a similar degree.
•    Scientific background/education and minimum 1 year in a relevant role.
•    Keen interest in sports nutrition, ideally using sports nutrition products themselves and/or a good understanding of the key products on the market.
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and an excellent team player.

Bonus points if you have:

•    Experience with formulating and flavouring powder-based products.
•    Sensory analysis experience.
•    Knowledge of EFSA health claims.
