Location: Wearside, with projects exclusively in the North East thereafter

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly reputable civil engineering contractor, known for their quality-driven projects and excellent team culture.

Role Overview:

Lead and manage direct and subcontract staff, ensuring efficient and effective site operations.

*

Maintain rigorous oversight of site documentation, placing particular emphasis on Quality Assurance and Health & Safety compliance.

*

Mentor and support the development of a trainee Site Manager on site.

*

Regular communication and reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing substantial external civil engineering projects.

*

Strong leadership, organisational skills, and a firm commitment to safety and quality standards.

*

Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
