Pk Education are recruiting for an ASD Specialist support assistant to work in a specialist school in Rotherham. Job spec & Description:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification: Cache level 2 or level 3 diploma in supporting teaching and learning in schools  or equivalent.
Experience working with ASD in Special schools or similar setting.
Additional training is an advantage; Autism Awareness, Team Teach, PECS, MAKATON, FIRST AID.
Must have patience and empathy.
Good communication, including non-verbal strategies.
Adaptability
Understanding of sensory and communication needs.
Must hold Child and Adult workforce DBS on the subscription service or willing to obtain a new one.
