We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and determined TA for 121 work in an Outstanding Primary School (KS1) in Northallerton! This is a temporary role, best suited to an individual that has experience in 121 work and a passion for making a difference to children’s lives.
Position: 121 TA
Location: Northallerton (DL6)
Start Date: September 2025
Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher in preparing the classroom and materials for effective lesson delivery
Provide individualized support to students during lessons to enhance engagement and understanding
Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback to support ongoing development
Help to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for student learning and well-being
Requirements:
Experience working in KS1
Strong understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to help out in lessons when needed
Experience in SEND 121 work
Calm, patient and understanding
Hold an Enhanced DBS and on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
