Factory Manager

Alexander Steele is recruiting for an experienced Factory Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be a key member of the SLT for site whilst operating closely with the senior group personnel. You will oversee the site operations whilst working closely with cross-functional teams to meet the group standards.

What’s on Offer:

* Paying circa £70,000 (d.o.e)

* Monday – Friday (flexibility with working hours)

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage all manufacturing operations including production, planning, technical, engineering and loading.

* Act a key member of the SLT, assisting on all operational related matters on group level.

* Ensuring all sites are complying with industry regulations and customer requirements.

* Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Background Experience:

* 6+ years of experience in operational management roles in a food processing environment.

* Strong people management skills – dealing with direct reports

* Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, operations, or related field preferred.

* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Familiarity with HACCP, BRC, GMP, and other relevant food industry standards.
