Alecto Recruitment are representing a UK winch & lifting equipment hire company in their recruitment process for a Plant Fitter in Essex. They provide winch related parts, services and repairs across the UK and overseas.

Our client is a successful and expanding specialist business with activities in a wide range of industrial sectors. The position is primarily workshop based but some on-site work and driving duties may also be involved from time to time.

Package

Basic salary up to £42,000
Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

Main Duties

Maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of mechanical and powered plant - cable winches/cable drum trailers/hoists/lifting equipment.
Some on-site work and driving duties from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience of winches, hoists and cable drum trailers will be a real advantage but is not essential however, you will need a good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrics in other powered plant.
You should ideally have prior experience in the Plant Hire industry and understand the demands of this sector.
Backgrounds in agricultural equipment, motor mechanics (commercial vehicles), trailers or lifting equipment will also be considered.
Engineers and Mechanics with experience working on Agricultural Equipment will be considered.
