We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join a busy team for an exciting maternity cover opportunity. Starting beginning of January 2026, you'll be integral in maintaining smooth financial operations during a transitional period, supporting our management accountant and contributing to key financial processes.

This is an excellent chance to showcase your accounting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working on-site five days a week. If you thrive in a busy setting and excel with Excel, this role offers both challenge and reward, all within a collaborative team.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience with cash flow management and bank reconciliations
Ability to prepare and post journals
Experience supporting month-end processes
Good understanding of P&L statements (Profit & Loss)
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailIdeal Candidate:

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of financial software systems
Familiarity with cash flow forecasting
A qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous
Previous experience in a similar assistant management accounting role
