About the Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils across Years 3–6, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. You’ll assist with small group and one-to-one interventions, support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education who wants to make a tangible impact in pupils’ lives while gaining valuable experience in a primary setting.
Requirements
To be successful as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you should have:
• Experience supporting children within a Key Stage 2 classroom
• A genuine passion for education and child development
• Understanding or experience of working with SEN pupils
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
