JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a specialist nursing home in Huntingdon, is currently looking to recruit a permanent Staff Nurse to help provide the highest levels of nursing care to their adult residents.

* Registered Nurse – RMN or RGN

* Up to £22.50 per hour, depending on experience

* 36 hours per week

* Mixed shifts

* CQC: Good

* Nursing home for those with challenging behaviours and varying mental health needs

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* You must be a qualified nurse – RNMH or RGN - and have a valid NMC PIN

* Excellent communication skills

* Passion for mental health care

* Dedication to providing the highest levels of care

* Previous experience within a similar setting

* Minimum 6 months’ nursing experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE REGISTERED NURSE / RN / STAFF NURSE:

* Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care

* Organising and motivating the carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered

* May assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff

* Liaising with other healthcare professionals

* Maintaining accurate drug records (storage, maintenance and use)

* Providing the highest standards of medical or palliative care at all times
