Spirehouse are currently supporting a midlands based Local Authority in need of a Housing Disrepairs Claims Manager.
The Opportunity:
This is a great interim opportunity to work in conjunction of the Local Authority to manage a caseload alongside the resident team of surveyors and councils legal services. You will manage claims made in relation to housing disrepair in the council’s HRA housing stock.
The successful candidate will have:
* Relevant experience in managing claims related to housing disrepair, particularly within a Social Housing Landlord Function
* Experience of managing employees and allocating workloads (This role will require management of a small team of administrators)
* Management of budgets
* Demonstrable understanding of:
1. Housing Disrepair case law
2. Regulator of Social Housing
3. Housing Ombudsman
Further information:
* Start ASAP
* 2 Months Temporary
* £26.70 per hour via Umbrella (Negotiable on experience)
* Full time working pattern – 37 hours
Requirements:
* Full UK driver licence with access to a vehicle
* Previous experience within this remit
