What You'll Do:
As their UK VAT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and providing invaluable VAT advice. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the preparation and submission of UK VAT returns.
Offering expert VAT guidance on business transactions, contracts, and new projects.
Managing VAT audits and liaising effectively with HMRC.
Monitoring VAT legislation changes and assessing their impact on our operations.
Supporting the implementation of VAT controls and driving process improvements.
Collaborating with finance, legal, and commercial teams to enhance VAT compliance and efficiency.
Working with the wider European VAT team to support pan-European VAT compliance and advisory matters.About You:
They are looking for someone with:

Proven experience in UK VAT, ideally within a large corporate or advisory environment.
A strong grasp of VAT legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and VAT reporting tools.
The ability to interpret complex data and legislation with ease.
Confidence in presenting VAT advice to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
