Agency Care Assistant – Care Home

Location: Brecon, LD2

Temporary / Agency | Flexible Shifts Available

About the Role:

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team on an agency basis, supporting residents in a friendly care home environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of elderly or vulnerable individuals by providing essential daily care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting

*

Support mobility and daily activities to promote independence

*

Help with meal preparation and feeding where needed

*

Provide emotional support and companionship

*

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

*

Report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff

What We’re Looking For:

*

Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting (Dementia experience preffered but not essential)

*

A caring, patient, and respectful approach

*

Good communication and teamwork skills

*

Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and nights

*

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
