Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Islington, London)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in the classroom? Tradewind Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of vibrant and inclusive primary schools across Islington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a genuine interest in education and making a positive impact on children's learning and development.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing classroom support to pupils and teachers across Early Years, KS1, or KS2

Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions, including for pupils with SEN

Supporting literacy, numeracy, and phonics-based learning

Assisting with classroom set-up, displays, and behaviour management

Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for pupils

Who We're Looking For:

Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (voluntary or paid)

A flexible, caring, and professional approach to supporting learning

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification, or a degree) - desirable but not essential
