Job Title: CNC Miller (with FANUC Programming Experience)
Location: Rootherham
Salary: £35'000 (Days) 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller with strong FANUC programming skills to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances. You will work from technical drawings and be involved in both one-off and batch production in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC milling machines using FANUC controls.

Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and work instructions.

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal cutting conditions and tool selection.

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

Adjust programs and machine settings to correct issues and ensure product quality.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times.

Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller with hands-on FANUC programming.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.

Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.

Experience with tight tolerances and quality control procedures.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as needed.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).

Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.

Experience with multi-axis machining
