Are you an experienced and qualified HLTA with a passion to support students with special needs?

Career Teachers are currently looking for a highly experienced individual to support as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest.

You will be supporting children and young people of various ages within KS2 to KS4.

Details of Position:

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest
Contract: Full Time, Long Term - 5 days p/w
Duration: Ongoing
Salary Range: £90 - £125 daily rate (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025Qualifications and Requirements:

Relevant HLTA Qualification (Essential)
Understanding of SEN and best practice.
Engagement skills as well as, a dedication to ongoing learning, and a passion for enhancing the students' experience are essential.
Experience as a HLTA supporting children and young people with additional needs such as, Autism, ADHD and SEMH.
Excellent communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Teaching/supporting students with special educational needs in their daily activities.
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one support.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure students' well-being.
