AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served CNC machinist / Fitter to join their team.
Specialising and passionate about metalwork, they custom design every job to meet customer requirements meaning no two jobs are the same.
Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.
Responsibilities and Duties are required for the CNC machinist / Fitter role:
· CNC machining preferably with XYZ experience
· Manual turning experience
· Experience working with various metals
· Working with machined components from sheet metal
· Able to use hand tools and power tools
· Able to read and understand detailed drawings
· Able to work with minimal supervision
· Able to work under pressure and maintain health and safety procedures
· Full UK licence required as candidate will be required to go onto site to take measurements- company van available
Qualifications and Skills are required for the CNC machinist / Fitter role:
An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
Minimum 3 years CNC experience
