Academics Ltd (Leeds branch) work with a number of schools across the Leeds area, assisting them with their daily and long term needs.

One of our schools based in West Leeds is recruiting a year 2 teacher to join their team- the position will be commencing after the summer holidays, for at least 2 terms with a possibility of a direct contract after Easter 2026.

Enthusiastic and motivated ECT's will be considered for this year 2 teacher position as well as experienced teachers.

The school is looking for a dedicated year 2 teacher ideally with key stage 1 experience.

This school has a very supportive SLT and regular provide CPD for all staff.

The ideal year 2 teacher will have the ability to engage pupils with differentiated and creative lessons to suit all abilities.

* Educated to degree level and QTS
* A high passion for teaching and working with children who have excellent expectations for attainment and behaviour
* Self-motivated and determined to do well
* Year 2 experience
* Secure understanding of differentiation to challenge children of all abilities
* DBS on the update service-or willing to apply for one
