About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our Service team. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, breakdown response, retrofits, and small project work at customer sites across the UK and internationally.
You'll be the face of our service team, providing technical support, site commissioning, and hands-on problem solving-always ensuring safety standards and customer satisfaction are maintained.
Shift Patter - Monday to Friday - 8am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine service, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs.
Conduct retrofits and support commissioning and small-scale project execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
Document service work according to company standards.
Support hyper care activities and site management duties.
Liaise professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support (UK-based).
Deliver training to internal teams and customer staff.
Key Skills and Experience
Electrical qualifications (18th Edition).
Mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on experience.
PLC knowledge (basic to advanced).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Email).
Strong time management and planning ability.
Health and safety awareness and compliance.
Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently and stay away from home.
