Teacher - Year 6

We are seeking a driven and benevolent Year 6 teacher to join a dedicated primary school in Aylesbury committed to providing excellence in education and fostering a supportive learning environment. Responsibilities:

Curriculum Leadership:
Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of engaging and challenging lessons for Year 6 pupils, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and school objectives.
Implement innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil learning and attainment in preparation for Key Stage 2 assessments.
Academic Support and Intervention:
Provide targeted support and intervention for pupils who require additional assistance in achieving their academic goals, particularly in areas such as English and mathematics.
Monitor pupil progress closely through ongoing assessment and data analysis, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to meet the needs of individual learners.
Preparation for Key Stage 2 Assessments:
Prepare Year 6 pupils thoroughly for Key Stage 2 SATs examinations, delivering comprehensive revision sessions and practice assessments to ensure readiness and confidence.
Classroom Management and Behavioural Support:
Establish and maintain a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to learning and academic achievement.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and foster a culture of respect and responsibility among pupils.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with colleagues, including teaching assistants and support staff, to share best practices and resources for enhancing teaching and learning in Year 6.
Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced teachers and support staff, offering guidance and support as needed.Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Extensive experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a focus on Year 6, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum, assessment frameworks, and Key Stage 2 SATs examinations.
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents/guardians.Benefits:
