Location: Greater London
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (12-hour rotating day & night shifts)
Salary: £55-60K

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Engineer to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site. You will be responsible for delivering effective planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and site efficiency. Your engineering expertise will support operational excellence and continuous improvement across a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance on machinery and systems

* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults

* Use automation knowledge to identify root causes and deliver effective fixes

* Complete maintenance documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

* Identify and support site-wide improvement initiatives for efficiency and reliability

What You’ll Need

* Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/Qualification (essential)

* Strong fault-finding skills (electrical or mechanical)

* Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within FMCG or Manufacturing

* Good understanding health and safety
