We are recruiting on behalf of one of our established clients in the ST3 area who are looking for an experienced, fully qualified commercial gas engineer to join their team.

Our client are leading the way in temporary boiler hire solutions with a strong commitment to quality engineering and innovation. They have a dedicated team always ensuring efficiency, reliability, creating a high standard and reputable service to their clients across the UK.

What you will be doing:

* You will be providing an efficient, reliable service to their clients across the UK in their operation of our client’s temporary boiler systems.

* Installation, commission and maintain commercial gas-fired temporary boiler units.

* Completing routine repairs, inspections and troubleshooting.

* Collaborating with their clientele to understand their heating requirements and help provide technical supports.

* Ensuring compliance with all gas safety standards & regulations.

* Keeping accurate up-to date records of maintenance activities.

What you will need to succeed:

* You will need to be a proven experienced commercial gas engineer - Experience within the temporary boiler industry is preferable but not essential.

* Holding current qualifications in COCN1/CODNCO1 is essential.

* Qualifications in CDGA1, ICPN, TPCP1/A, CIGA1, CORT1 are desirable.

* A strong knowledge of commercial heating systems & controls.

* There will be a need for flexibility, due long distance travelling and the occasional overnight stay supporting their clients throughout the UK.

* A full, clean driving license is required.

* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

* Ability to work as part of a team and ability to work on your own.

* Current DBS Check or ability to obtain one.
