Head Chef – Craft Nutritious, Delicious Menus (No Split Shifts) Location: Residential Care Setting
Hours: 40 hours per week | 7:00am – 5:00pm | Alternate weekends off
Salary: Up to £33,300 DOE

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a kitchen in a high-quality residential care environment, delivering restaurant-standard meals without the pressure of split shifts or long hours.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, nutritious menus tailored to residents’ dietary requirements and care plans
Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team to maintain consistently high standards
Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, and food costings
Ensure all staff are trained in dish specifications and food safety procedures
Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards (including HACCP)
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maximise resident satisfaction
Work closely with management to continuously improve the dining experience About You
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef (care, hospitality, or similar environment)
Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate
Strong knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and allergen management
Confident in menu planning, costing, and budget control
