Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, accounting software, and accounts payable processes. This role is crucial in providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and sustainability of our organisation.

Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accuracy.

* Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets.

* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support decision-making processes.

* Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial plans aligned with organisational goals.

* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

* Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks for efficient financial management.

* Lead a team of finance professionals, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a finance department.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in relation to accounts payable.

* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is essential.

* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

* Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and collaboration with stakeholders.

* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA or CIMA) will be advantageous.
