Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School (North London)
Start Date: ASAP | Full-Time | Long-Term

The Role:

Provide classroom-based support to pupils and the class teacher

Support learning activities across a range of subjects

Work one-to-one or with small groups to boost progress

Help to manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively

Assist with preparation of resources and classroom displays

Monitor and record pupil progress

Encourage pupil engagement and build positive relationships

Support with the emotional and social development of pupils

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have:

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school-based setting

A positive and proactive attitude

Confidence supporting children with varying needs

Strong communication and organisational skills

The ability to work well as part of a team

A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
