My client in the Thirsk area require an experienced Welder.

Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Duties

Execute MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.
Perform stick welding as required for specific projects.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
Conduct assembly of components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding techniques is essential.
Familiarity with stick welding is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machinery and equipment used in welding processes.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
