Key Responsibilities of a Teacher of Maths:

As a Teacher of Maths, you will:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are inclusive and differentiated

Use innovative teaching methods to motivate and challenge students of all abilities

Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to whole-school improvement

Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters achievement and enthusiasm for learning

Requirements:

To be successful as a Teacher of Maths, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics

Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
