Rising Talent is excited to present an opportunity for a  Electrical Panel Builder for a reputable engineering company located in North Lanarkshire. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the assembly and testing of electrical panels, ensuring compliance with safety standards and specifications. You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled engineers, interacting with various sectors to maintain high-quality standards in the production process. 

Day shift - Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.15pm and Friday 7.30 – 12.30pm

£18.42 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

To build the electrical control cabinets, remote boxes and terminal boxes for all projects, using the schematics and layout issued by engineering.

To electrically wire the projects in line with the cable schedules issued by engineering. This also involves the running of trunking and tray.  You must have a keen eye for running of these ancillaries to ensure the project looks aesthetically pleasing and minimising waste.

Working with engineering to ensure all schematics and cable schedules and correct and updated.

To carry out electrical testing of the plant where required and under guidance of Production Supervision.

To ensure job budgets are achieved working with production supervision

Carrying out electrical repairs to workshop plant and machinery when required.

Carry our PAT testing of all company portable appliances.

Ideal Candidate:

Time Served Electrical Engineer

Proven experience as an Electrical Panel Builder or similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.

Hold a valid 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
