We’re looking for a proactive Site Engineer (Structures) to join our construction team on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. You’ll play a key role in delivering complex structural works — including bridges, viaducts, retaining walls, and reinforced concrete structures — as part of one of the UK’s most exciting infrastructure programmes.

This position is ideal for an engineer seeking hands-on experience on a major civil engineering project, working alongside a highly skilled team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of structural works including setting out, surveys, and QA checks

Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification

Prepare and manage ITPs, method statements, and technical documentation

Support the Section Engineer and Site Manager in coordinating daily site activities

Liaise with subcontractors, designers, and other engineering disciplines

Maintain accurate records of work completed and as-built documentation

Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management

About You

Degree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience as a Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure projects (structures experience preferred)

Sound knowledge of setting out, QA processes, and temporary works

Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

CSCS card and relevant safety training certifications
