Salary: circa £60,000

An opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation, to take responsibility for plant Quality Management operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the plant Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, customer, legal, and internal requirements
Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external quality audits, acting as local owner of quality processes
Manage customer quality relationships, drive customer satisfaction, and handle complaints using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why)
Oversee supplier quality performance, support continuous improvement, and manage chargebacks when applicable
Drive quality performance through inspections, analysis, corrective actions, and management of core quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, PPAP)

Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Management, ideally within the automotive industry
​​​​​​​Certified internal auditor for IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
Strong expertise in automotive quality tools and methodologies (PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, problem-solving)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams
Excellent communication skills, with strong MS Office proficiencyProcessing Your Data
