Audit Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their expanding audit and assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, lead audit teams, and work closely with partners to deliver high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors

* Plan, lead, and review audit assignments from start to finish

* Manage audit budgets, deadlines, and resourcing

* Lead, coach, and develop Audit Seniors and junior staff

* Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships

* Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS

* Identify business risks and provide value-adding recommendations

* Support partners with business development and proposal work

Requirements

* ACA / ACCA qualified

* Significant experience in external audit within practice

* Proven experience managing audit assignments and teams

* Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills

* Commercial mindset with strong organisational skills
