Class 2 Tipper Driver - Job description:

GI Group are recruiting for a Class 2 Tipper Driver for a position with our clients based in Nuneaton. The ideal candidate will be placed on temporary assignments to support the needs of our ever growing client base. This role can consist of early mornings starts so drivers are encouraged to consider this before making an application.
This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Nuneaton, Kenilworth and the other surrounding areas.

Class 2 Tipper Driver - The Role:

This role consists of multi-drop delivery work consisting of food waste collection, the driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and tipping food waste materials using a rigid vehicle, typically a specialized food waste tipper. The duties include collecting waste from commercial premises, ensuring safe loading and operation of the vehicle, complying with driving regulations, and disposing of the collected waste at designated sites. This is a temporary position, and training will be provided on the job. The driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

Class 2 Tipper Driver - Shifts and Hours:

* Monday to Friday
* Start Times: 03:00-07:00am

Class 2 Tipper Driver - Rates of Pay:

* Monday to Friday - £15.68 inclusive of your holiday pay.

Class 2 Tipper Driver - The Perfect Candidate:

* Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
* Will hold a valid Class 2 HGV driving licence
* Will hold a valid Tachograph and CPC Card
* Must have a minimum of 12 months experience for insurance purposes.
* Will be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
* Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
