Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Pay: £450 per day (Inside IR35)

Our client are looking for an experienced contract Power BI Developer to play a key role in developing a modern reporting and analytics environment. The role will involve end-to-end delivery of dashboards and data models that will improve visibility across core business functions, including sales, construction, and customer services.

Responsibilities

* Engage with stakeholders to gather reporting and data visualisation requirements
Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports from the ground up

* Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to manage access based on user roles, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

* Lead the transition from Excel / Tableau to a dynamic BI platform
Create robust data models and implement DAX measures for advanced insights

* Create automated reporting solutions and manage scheduled data refreshes

Skills and Experience

* Strong commercial experience as a Power BI Developer

* Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

* Highly Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX

* Comfortable working closely with teams across multiple different departments

* Demonstrable experience moving organisations from Excel / Tableau to Power BI

* Industry experience in Construction / Housing is advantageous but not essential
