We are are looking for an Estimator with experience within the Civil Engineering sector for a permanent based with our client on Sheffield.

Immediate start available (subject to interview)

Salary is circa£50,000 per annum (depending to experience)

Given the nature of the work, there will be site visits involved.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background as an Estimator within the civil engineering industry and have experience pricing tenders from first principles.

Experience within the structural/mechanical sectors is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Develop estimates at all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility and concept through to detailed design
Lead on the development of estimating strategies and present to senior stakeholders both internal and external.
Preparation of the detailed scope/drawings from drawings and specifications
Prepare material/sub-contract requirements for sourcing and pricing
Focus on value-engineering throughout the bid stage design process
Contribute to the identification of risk and pricing of risks throughout bids
Attend client meetings throughout the tender process where appropriate
Work on tenders from first principles
Present tenders at bid team meetings/client presentationsIn the first instance, send CV's to (url removed) or call (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.
