The Role
As Head Tractor Driver, you’ll lead across a wide range of field operations, with sole focus on the potato cropping cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
* Spraying, planting, and harvesting of potato crops
* Operating and maintaining modern machinery, including GPS-guided tractors and implements
* Coordinating with management and seasonal teams to ensure efficient, timely fieldwork
* Maintaining field records and supporting compliance with health, safety, and crop assurance standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with potatoes.
* PA1 & PA2 spray certificates (essential)
* Demonstrable experience with planting and harvesting potatoes
* Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills
* A proactive, detail-focused work ethic and the ability to work both independently and within a team
* Full UK driving licence (telehandler ticket desirable)
