About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a passionate and creative Teacher of Music to join a successful and inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. This permanent, full-time role is available for an immediate start and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.
This position would suit a dedicated Music specialist who is enthusiastic about inspiring young people and contributing to a supportive, forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience)
Inspire students to develop musical ability, creativity, and confidence
Contribute to extracurricular activities such as music clubs, ensembles, and performances
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
Work collaboratively within the Music department and the wider school team

Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education
