Job Title: Business Development Manager – Commercial Waste
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000–£32,000 basic (DOE)
OTE: £50,000+ – Uncapped Commission

Are you a driven B2B sales professional or field-based Business Development Manager ready to take your career to the next level in the waste management industry?

We’re working with a fast-growing, carbon-neutral business that’s transforming how UK companies manage commercial waste. They’re now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Sheffield team, focusing on new business generation, sustainability-focused selling, and long-term client partnerships.

Your Role as Business Development Manager:

Generate and convert new business leads in the commercial waste management sector

*

Conduct face-to-face and remote sales meetings with decision-makers across a range of industries

*

Create bespoke proposals and close deals that deliver client value

*

Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects in the Sheffield and surrounding areas

*

Attend networking events, industry expos, and local business groups

*

Track KPIs and report regularly on sales activity

What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in B2B sales or business development

*

Experience in the waste industry, facilities, logistics, or field sales is a major bonus – but not essential

*

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills

*

Self-starter who thrives on autonomy and smashing targets

*

Full UK driving licence
