Quality and Compliance Manager

Are you an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager looking to ensure operational excellence in a growing, well-established food business? This role takes full responsibility for maintaining health & safety, ISO standards, compliance, quality checks, and site maintenance across Young’s Foods Limited.

The role carries a high level of responsibility and requires meticulous attention to detail, strong knowledge of ISO standards, and the ability to drive compliance and quality initiatives across the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

* Lead quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

* Develop, implement, and monitor H&S policies, risk assessments, and safety procedures.

* Conduct regular quality audits and internal inspections, addressing non-conformances with corrective actions.

* Ensure all site maintenance is completed and documented, including fire alarms, shutters, emergency signage, and other critical equipment.

* Investigate complaints and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

* Collaborate with operations, production, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

* Prepare and present reports on quality, compliance, audits, and safety performance to senior leadership.

* Support expansion initiatives by ensuring new processes and sites meet compliance and quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

* Proven experience in quality management, compliance, or H&S in a food production or manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of ISO standards and experience managing audits.

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills and ability to lead, influence, and train teams.

* Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, HACCP/ISO) are desirable but not essential.
