This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of aviation operations through meticulous investigations of incidents, accidents, and other safety events.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting investigations into aviation occurrences, incidents, or accidents
Deploying immediately to the aircraft/incident site, which may involve overseas travel
Making safety recommendations to reduce the probability of recurrence
Monitoring aviation incident reporting and proposing investigations when necessary
Contributing to the development of processes and procedures related to investigations
Liaising with stakeholders to address safety-related issues found in the investigation process
Managing the Event Review Group (ERG) process
Actively supporting and promoting the Company's Safety Management System (SMS)

Job Requirements:

Qualified aviation safety investigator
Experience in the aviation industry in either a safety, flight operations, or engineering role
Experience working with SMS and aviation regulations
Experience managing the implementation of new processes and procedures

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external customers at all levels
Experienced in presenting information, both written and verbal
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Computer literate, proficient in MS Office Software and other Company Software as required
Maintain high levels of integrity, work ethic, and confidentiality, using discretion appropriately
Flexible to accommodate the reactive nature of the work
