London – hybrid working
Fixed Term Contract – 9 months
£32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Project Support Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and logistical support to a major sector-wide initiative. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the effective running of a key Steering Group and its associated working groups/committees, helping to deliver smooth and efficient governance processes.

You’ll coordinate meetings, prepare and circulate documents, take accurate minutes, and maintain action logs — all while serving as a friendly and professional first point of contact for members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate meetings including scheduling, booking venues or online platforms, and circulating joining details.
Prepare and distribute agendas and papers, ensuring materials are shared on time.
Take accurate minutes and action points during meetings and circulate promptly for review.
Maintain action logs and monitor progress in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Act as a key contact for Steering Group members, managing queries about meetings and logistics.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, documents, and decisions in line with governance processes.
Provide general administrative support to the wider project team as needed. About You
We’re looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll need to be confident working with a range of stakeholders and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Essential skills and experience:

Experience providing administrative or secretariat support to committees, boards, or project teams.
Confidence in organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking accurate minutes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
