Why this role?
You’ll be at the centre of UK operations, overseeing logistics, stock management, and supplier performance. You'll manage a dedicated team, and work cross-functionally to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  
What you'll be doing

Leading all site logistics operations, from packaging to transport and storage
Managing and developing a small team, fostering growth and high performance
Driving improvement across S&OP and logistics processes to benchmark standards
Partnering with third-party logistics providers, ensuring legal and performance compliance
Managing raw materials and finished goods across multiple locations
Owning and optimising a £2 million logistics budget
Leading logistics risk management and emergency response planning   
What you’ll bring

Minimum 3 years’ experience leading logistics operations, ideally in a chemical or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of DGSA and SHE compliance
Confident line management and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
SAP experience and a data-driven mindset
