Site Manager - Gas Transmission, Please get in touch today! 

New roles for Site Manager - Gas Transmission working with a national grid contractor who work all over the country. The role will involve Site Management of sites around the UK and be a long term freelance role. The role will mean some travel, working from home, local offices and on site - home for the weekend. This is a really exciting new role for the right person - we don't mind what location people are but travel will be required for the successful candidate. 

The role will include:

Working around National Grid and Cadent sites in the UK 

Site Management of the sites, working with the management team, commercial team and subcontractors

Site Management out on site and all site paperwork/inductions/checking certificates of workers

Management of Site Agents and Engineering leaders on site

Chairing site meetings and submitting progress reports

Responsibility for all site activities 

The ideal candidate will have:

A strong demonstration of Project Management on National Grid gas sites

CSCS Card and SHEA gas card

SMSTS

Extensive experience within civil engineering and particularly in running national grid projects

Willingness to work away as this will be a major part of the role (with hotels and mileage covered)

Leadership qualities and strong project management experience

A positive attitude towards work
