We are seeking a talented and driven Biology Teacher to join a thriving and academically ambitious school in Beaconsfield. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025, open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

About the Science Department
The Science department is well-resourced and operates from a suite of modern laboratories. Biology is a popular subject and is taught separately from Year 9, with a strong uptake at A-Level. Students are curious, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning science.
About the Role
As a Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 as an option for experienced candidates.
• Planning lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to student needs.
• Supporting student progression through excellent assessment and feedback.
• Contributing to the wider Science curriculum and enrichment programme.
• Working collaboratively with a supportive team of science specialists.
• Participating in relevant CPD, school initiatives, and parent communication.
Experience and Qualifications
• A degree in Biology or a related discipline.
• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science.
• A passion for biology and strong subject knowledge.
• Ability to create a supportive and challenging classroom environment.
Salary
This position is paid to scale – MPS/UPS, based on experience.
