Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Durham based precision engineering client with their search for CNC Turners and Millers to join their growing team.
Our client are looking for both Setter Operators and Programmers with Mazak controls.
The Business
The company manufacture high quality machined components and assemblies for a number of high quality industries including:
* Aerospace
* Defence
* Oil and Gas
* Nuclear
* Rail
* Medical
The Job
The purpose of this role is to produce high quality parts working on Mazak controlled lathes and mills on low volume billet work.
You will:
* Program or set and operate CNC Lathes and Mills with Mazak controls
* Setting up tooling
* Loading and unloading machines
* Selecting correct tooling
* Working with minimal supervision
* Maintaining safe operation of machinery
* Complete documentation and timesheets
Hours
This is a day shift role
7.45am – 4.30pm Mon – Thurs and 7.45am – 12.45pm Friday
